Concept
A real-time orienteering and survival app, AR Survivor combines a detailed compass and GPS feature with real world interaction with the environment, allowing you to find edible plants, provide instructions for making fire and shelter with the available resources, and make the best choices in critical circumstances. First aid for emergencies guides people through an emergency response before EMTs arrive. You can access the app over your online device using your camera view as the interface. Graphics will appear in the scene in the form of avatar guides, floating text labels for plants (avoid the poison ivy and gather up the edible greens and mushrooms), and dynamic arrows that lead the way back to base camp. Users will also receive weather reports and regular updates on changing conditions in real time, with advice on camp location based upon these changing conditions.
