Concept
The Magic Purple Stylus starts with the augmented reality of drawing in your living room and gradually turns it into a completely virtual environment of your own making that you can move into and explore. Take a real vase and draw over it to make a virtual one. You can selectively redraw elements in the room and they will appear as if you replaced them in the camera scene. You can change walls, add doors, and add rooms beyond those doors. Like Harold you can make a new world to navigate in, look around, and arrive back in time for dinner. The immersive properties of AR allow users to engage with virtual objects, with photorealistic rendered effects that update in real time. You can draw new virtual objects for placement, or select them from a menu to customize and place. Patterns and textures can be added to the virtual environment or the objects within it. The Magic Purple Stylus will also allow you to share your custom environment skins with other app users, so the results can be shared and developed with your friends.
