Using Charles Eames' famous Powers of Ten as a guide to contextualizing the universe, AR Astronomer recalibrates your local position and the human scale into a 3D map that allows you to traverse from the microscopic to the cosmic, jumping from orders of magnitude and magnification in powers of ten. You can explore the palm of your hand and its constituent cells, navigate Earth's local area, find its position in the Milky Way, locate the entire galaxy with its neighbors, and travel beyond with a simplified version of the universe, populated with stars and planets. Users can focus in and out for more detail, moving easily from one power of ten to another, with highlights and floating text to point out to structures like planets, quasars, black holes, and more, as well as the associated forces that influence their behavior.
