Concept

The Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI) has a classification system to facilitate the sorting and disposal of different kinds of plastics. This coding system uses a SPI code with a "chasing arrow symbol" that must be molded or imprinted into the bottom of all finished plastic products. An app user can scan a facility and their plastic products to acquire detailed performance specs from each one. Raw plastic stock bins will also be labeled and available for scanning by AR Plastics. All retrieved information is presented from within the camera view immediately upon scanning next to the plastic in question.
